What is the 21 Day Emotional Detox Challenge?
The 21 Day Emotional Detox Challenge, is a 21 day personal development challenge that is designed to help you get out of your way and on with your life. We do this through learning tools and techniques for being emotionally responsible. This process starts by helping you release any emotional baggage that weighs you down, then seeks to build your mindfulness muscles and ends with giving you a self-esteem booster shot that helps protect you from unnecessary negativity.
Why should I join this Challenge?
First and foremost, it’s because you deserve it. You deserve to be happy. You deserve emotional wellbeing. You deserve love from yourself. This challenge is designed to help keep you accountable to doing the work and formulate a new habit of being emotionally intelligent.
What is required of me throughout this Challenge?
15 minutes a day. Yep, that’s it. 15 minutes a day for 21 days is all it requires to begin making change in your life. This is an extra layer of accountability added just for you! We’ll ask you to introduce yourself to this awesome Facebook group and each day you will be asked to do 2 things:
#1 – Log into your account and do that day’s assignment. There is a different assignment everyday, switching from meditation, journaling, visualizations, exercises and MP3s.
#2 – Log into your private Facebook community and introduce yourself, let everyone know why you’re here, and don’t be afraid to make some new friends!
#3 – Connect with your Facebook community daily to check-in, share your success, inspire and hold each other accountable.
That’s it! Easy. Simple. Effective.

Honestly, results vary, however there is an old saying that says “you get out of it, what you put into it.” The 21-Day Emotional Detox is designed to help you declutter the heart and mind, enhance your mindfulness, and boost your self-esteem. What will I be doing during the 21-Day Detox?

Surrender & Clear
The first 7 days of your emotional detox is designed to surrender and clear our minds of toxicity. Our minds are flooded with negativity all the time, whether it is through our own stinking thinking or implanted toxicity through media, family, or other people I like to call “energy vampires”! Each day you turn on the news, channel after channel is flooded with violence, crime, and pain. Every show you watch centers around drama and pain. Magazines show images of pretty people, or celebrity screw ups, and prompt us to buy buy buy! With so much noise, it is easy to lose control. During this first week, it’s time to wave the white flag and surrender this toxicity, while learning quick tips and tools to help you clear the nonsense and lift the emotional fog you have been in.
Once the fog has lifted, it’s time to get to work! I always say: “Change requires work and happiness requires training.” And during week number 2, that is just what you are going to do. This week is about reclaiming your inner piece and taking back control. Here you will condition and train your mind to stomp out the noise and enhance your mindfulness. By simply applying our 3-step mindfulness process you will not only effectively alter your thoughts, you will also drastically improve your feelings and habits. Here you begin to feel centered and back in the driver’s seat. Your mind will rejoice with clarity and calm. Through journaling, mindfulness techniques, patience, and discipline, your mind can switch from being your worst enemy to your best friend.
Week 3, my favorite. Here is where intention, purpose, and direction come into play. It is during this final week where you can begin to align your affirmation with your actions. By this stage you hopefully have gotten out of your way and now the focus is on moving forward. Intention is what I call the foundation of purpose. With conscious and intentional focus, you can find meaning in everything and begin to participate in creating the life you want vs. having life dictate what you get. Life will always throw you curve balls, this can never be avoided, however, with a clear and purposeful mind you can turn those curve balls into a home run. This can only result from a clear, focused and intentional mind. This final week of your 21-Day Emotional Detox™ is designed to do just that.

Through affirmations, meditations, visualizations and journaling exercises, your peace of mind is just around the corner. Listen to them anytime, any place, and as often as you like. They will always be 10 minutes or less and perfect for that quick fix!

Getting To Know Bonnie Kelly
Often two questions come up when asked ‘who are you’; number one, what makes you qualified to teach this course. And number two, why did you create this course? Both are wonderful question.
Number One: ‘what makes you qualified to teach this course?’ I have multiple credentials academically including my CPC, ELI-MP, and many others. I have worked with top fortune 500 companies in improving their emotional intelligence, and have thousands of hours of professional experience. I am an author, speaker and coach. However, my favorite credential didn’t come from a school or success story. Nope, rather my favorite credential come from experience.
I could talk until I am blue in the face about all achievements, successes and top notch people I have worked with, but too me that all means nothing if I haven’t had to do the work myself. After more than a decade of abuse, abandonment, molestation, rape, drugs, and dysfunction, I know a thing or two about having a toxic mind. I know what it’s like to have no self-respect, love or acceptance. I know what it’s like to feel worthless and hopeless. And I know what it takes to transform your life. That’s what makes me qualified.
Number Two: ‘why did you create this course?’ Honestly, it’s because people need it. There is so hype around detoxing your life, body, foods, and refrigerators, but no one is talking about detoxing your mind. Your mind affects EVERYTHING. And I mean everything. Henry Ford said it best “whether you think you can or can’t, either way you’re right.” Your mindset, your beliefs, your thoughts are building you up or breaking you down. Unfortunately for much of our lives there is a lack of consciousness around emotional responsibility. We get stuck in blame or victim minded and often wait for “time” to fix us. WAKE UP!
